A different kind of picture....

I’m Jane, a wife, mother, public school music educator of 30 years, singer, introvert, griever, follower of Christ, lover of reading and writing and, I try to be a good listener and a good friend. The categories listed above typify my personality and lifestyle, and are or will eventually be represented in this blog.

Not too long from now I will retire from my vocation of the past 30 years – teaching music to elementary school students – and am starting to wonder what will come next. Writing has always been something that I’ve loved to do. Give me a fountain pen and a piece of good writing paper and I’m happy as a clam. So this is my first venture into the world of writing and self publishing.

I hope that you will participate by commenting, asking questions or offering your opinions. I would like this blog to become a conversation.

I also blog at
